DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Skimo Race is a crampon developed specifically for competitive ski mountaineering, where every gram counts and quick transitions are critical. Its construction from 7075 aluminum alloy—the same used in aerospace for its optimal strength-to-weight ratio—makes it one of the lightest tools in its category, without compromising structural integrity on icy race sections.
Binding system and compatibility
The heart of the crampon is the automatic binding system with an adjustable T-Stop front bail, designed to attach and detach the crampon in seconds, even with cold hands and gloves. The bail can be calibrated to fit most ski mountaineering boots equipped with a front welt, a standard now widely used in race and fast-and-light footwear. Adapters are available to further expand compatibility with different sole geometries.
