The CAMP Peak 12 STL is a 12-point crampon designed for those tackling mixed alpine terrain, capable of adapting to both mountaineering boots with rigid soles and ski mountaineering boots, thanks to a versatile binding system that combines automatic and semi-automatic modes.
Binding System and Adaptability
The technical strong point of the Peak 12 STL is the BootFit system, an innovative construction that allows for precise fit adjustment across a very wide range of soles, eliminating play between boot and crampon even under dynamic stress. The automatic front binding quickly converts to semi-automatic with a strap, making it compatible with boots that do not have a rigid front welt.
