The oval shape, unlike asymmetrical carabiners, keeps the load always centered along the main axis, making it the natural choice for use with pulleys, shock absorbers, and hauling systems, where the stability of the anchor point is fundamental.
Construction and locking system
The body is made of aluminum alloy with a compact profile that optimizes the strength-to-weight ratio, eliminating superfluous mass without compromising structural performance. The Keylock closing system — without the traditional hook on the nose — eliminates the risk of unintentional snagging on ropes, slings, and anchors, a feature particularly appreciated in lowering maneuvers and complex systems where the carabiner frequently comes into contact with other components.
