DESCRIPTION
The ATK Trofeo Brake is a race ski touring binding designed for those who refuse to compromise between extreme lightness and downhill functionality. The integrated brake—a feature not to be taken for granted in the race category—also makes it suitable for those tackling technical descents or who are subject to safety regulations in ski areas.
Technology and Construction
The core of the system is Monolink technology: a single pair of springs that precisely locks the boot, reducing the number of components and overall weight without sacrificing retention. The toe is designed with the Easy Entry system, which allows for immediate engagement even with gloves on, in intensely cold conditions, or when every second counts in a race. The crampon support is integrated but removable, allowing the binding to be adapted to one's uphill needs without adding separate accessories.
Heel Piece and Brake
The heel piece includes an adjustment system designed to ensure the correct position of the boot in relation to the plate, maintaining precise response during pushing. The retractable brake—removable if not needed—integrates into the structure without adding bulk to the binding's race profile, offering a hybrid solution between pure competition and use in regulated contexts.
