The ATK pre-drilled toe plate (R13) is a precision component designed for those who want to optimize the positioning of their ski touring binding on the ski. Sold as a pair, it integrates directly with the ATK toe mounting system, offering three distinct adjustment positions: central, advanced, and rear.
Function and compatibility
Combined with the rear adjustment slide, this plate allows you to maintain the centrality of the binding relative to the ski's mounting line even when you move the toe pieces to adapt to different boot geometries or skiing preferences. The pre-drilled structure reduces superfluous weight while maintaining the structural rigidity necessary for transmitting impulses during pushing and downhill phases.
When and why to use it
This accessory becomes indispensable when remounting on different skis, when changing boot size, or when you want to refine the binding's performance on hard snow compared to transformed snow. Moving the toe piece even by a few millimeters can significantly change the binding's response in turns and the load distribution on the ski's axis.
