DESCRIPTION
The ATK Crest 8 is a ski touring binding designed for those seeking the right balance between lightness on the ascent and reliability on the descent, even on technical terrain. The AP BR version with an 86 mm brake integrates the AP Brake System into the heel piece: a retractable brake that automatically activates in descent mode, ensuring the skis are held without adding unnecessary weight to the heel.
Technical Features
The toe piece features the patented Easy Entry System®, with a specially revised geometry that allows for immediate step-in with any ski touring boot, even with snow on the sole. The heel piece is equipped with magnetic heel risers with two positions: they attach and detach with a simple touch of the pole, reducing management time on the ascent. The toe piece release value can be set on a DIN scale of 4-8, suitable for technical skiers of intermediate weight and skiing style. The 86 mm brake covers the standard width of modern touring skis.
