DESCRIPTION
The Leki Shark Frame is a trekking pole strap designed to optimize force transmission while walking in the mountains. Unlike traditional straps, the Shark Frame system wraps the hand 360 degrees thanks to its one-piece construction, eliminating seams and joints that could create pressure points.
Construction and materials
The strap is made from a single continuous piece, with an anatomical cut that follows the natural shape of the hand. The inner surface is lined with a soft and breathable material, which reduces friction and heat buildup during prolonged outings. The wide support area evenly distributes pressure across the back of the hand, preventing discomfort even after hours of continuous use.
Biomechanical function
The geometry of the Shark Frame is designed to actively support the push phase on the pole and facilitate the arm's return movement, contributing to a more efficient walking pace on technical climbs and descents. The secure yet flexible fit allows you to maintain a natural grip without unnecessarily contracting the hand, reducing muscle fatigue over long elevation gains.
- Available in sizes S, M, L to fit different hand sizes
- 360° one-piece construction without critical seams
- Breathable inner lining for prolonged use
- Compatible with Leki poles equipped with the Speed Lock system
- Trekking
- Hiking
