The Atomic Backland XTD 110 is a ski touring boot designed for those who want to maximize performance on both ascents and descents, with a particular focus on freeriding and challenging terrain. The 100 mm last positions it in the mid-range of ski touring, ensuring a precise fit without sacrificing comfort on long outings.
Construction and materials
The shell is made of Prolite, a material that combines an ultra-thin profile with high responsiveness and torsion properties, reducing the overall weight without compromising the stiffness required for descents. This construction choice makes the boot compatible with medium-wide skis, effectively transmitting energy even on off-piste oriented setups. The 110 flex index places it in an intermediate-high stiffness range, ideal for technical skiers tackling steep slopes and variable snow.
