Atomic Backland Summit 5 BR Junior Ski Touring Binding
Atomic Backland Summit 5 BR Junior Ski Touring Binding - Black / 90 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Backland Summit 5 BR is the pin binding for the next generation of ski tourers: it features the same technologies as the adult Backland Summit, but is lighter and easier to use, with an adjustable release value from 2 to 5 and 90 mm touring ski stoppers (BR).
Safety and downhill performance
The AutoFlex system features a spring in the heel piece that automatically allows 5 mm of movement between the toe and heel pieces as the ski flexes through turns: the binding follows the ski's natural flex, absorbs impacts more effectively and increases safety.
Features
- Compatible with ski touring boots with pin inserts (tech)
- Patented step-in with an integrated toe bar that guides the boot
- Adjustable toe lift with a single pole touch
- Touring ski stoppers with uphill/downhill locking, connectable to carry skis over the shoulder
- Toe and heel pieces made of aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced polyamide: lightweight, comfortable and easy to use
- Weight: 405 g per piece; 50 mm sole length adjustment, useful for accommodating foot growth
- Compatible with Atomic Backland 80, 90, 100 and 110 mm ski touring poles
Fit
Recommended skier weight: 22-50 kg. The binding should be fitted and adjusted by a technician based on the boot sole length and the skier's weight, height and level. 90 mm ski stoppers: suitable for skis up to 90 mm wide at the waist.
Pair with: Atomic Backland 80 Ski Touring Skis, Atomic Skin 78/80 Ski Touring Skins, Atomic Revent Lite Ski Helmet - Blue
