The Ortovox 120 Cool TEC Choose MTN TS M is a technical t-shirt for mountaineering and high-altitude trekking, built around a blend of Merino wool and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres to provide active temperature regulation even in the most demanding conditions. Its low weight — indicated by the 120 g/m² fabric weight — makes it suitable as a base layer during summer ascents or as a versatile layer on high-mountain excursions.
Technology and materials
The combination of Merino and TENCEL™ Lyocell is no coincidence: Merino wool manages body temperature by reducing peaks of heat and cold, while Lyocell fibres — derived from cellulose of sustainable origin — accelerate moisture wicking away from the skin and maintain a dry feel even during prolonged exertion. The result is a stable skin microclimate that delays the buildup of discomfort during the most intense hours of activity.
Fit and high-altitude use
