The ORTOVOX 120 Cool TEC Choose MTN TS M is a technical t-shirt for mountaineering and high-altitude trekking, built around a blend of Merino wool and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers to offer active thermoregulation even in the most demanding conditions. Its light weight — indicated by the 120 g/m² grammage — makes it suitable as a base layer during summer ascents or as a versatile layer for high-mountain excursions.
Technology and materials
The combination of Merino and TENCEL™ Lyocell is not accidental: Merino wool manages body temperature by reducing peaks of heat and cold, while Lyocell fibers — derived from sustainably sourced cellulose — accelerate moisture wicking outwards and maintain a dry feel on the skin even under prolonged exertion. The result is a stable skin microclimate that delays the accumulation of discomfort during the most intense hours of activity.
