DESCRIPTION
The Macnas Softshell is the technical jacket by La Sportiva designed for ski touring and high-altitude outings where the wind and cold require substantial protection without compromising mobility. The construction in a mix of technical softshell fabrics guarantees a carefully designed balance between weather resistance, breathability, and light integrated insulation, sufficient to retain warmth during stops and ascents in moderate cold conditions.
Construction and fit
The articulated hood follows the movements of the head without limiting peripheral vision, an essential element when climbing with skis and a backpack. The adjustable Velcro elastic cuffs allow for a precise closure to block out cold air even during the wider movements of off-piste skiing. The cut is tailored for those wearing a mid-layer underneath, while still maintaining a silhouette that does not hinder your stride.
