DESCRIPTION
The Kong Tergeste is a modular rope roller made of lightweight aluminum alloy, designed to manage rope movement in technical rescue operations and industrial rope access. The structure consists of 5 hinged modules that adapt to the terrain's morphology, ensuring continuous contact with the ground even on uneven or edged surfaces.
Technology and components
At the heart of the system are the double nylon rollers, which allow two ropes to slide independently simultaneously, even in opposite directions. This makes the Tergeste particularly useful in parallel lowering and ascending operations, or in rescue maneuvers where a working rope and a safety rope must slide without interfering with each other. The 4 locking pins allow the modules to be fixed in a rigid position when the rope path requires it, optimizing the smoothness of movement along straight sections.
