The KONG Tergeste is a modular rope protector made of a lightweight aluminum alloy designed to manage rope movement in technical rescue operations and industrial rope access. The structure consists of 5 articulated modules that adapt to the terrain, ensuring continuous contact with the ground even on uneven or sharp surfaces.
Technology and components
The core of the system is the double nylon rollers, which allow for the independent movement of two ropes simultaneously, even in opposite directions. This makes the Tergeste particularly useful in parallel lowering and hauling operations, or in rescue maneuvers where a working rope and a safety rope must move without mutual interference. The 4 locking pins allow the modules to be fixed in a rigid position when required by the rope path, optimizing the fluidity of movement on straight sections.
