The Petzl Delta is a triangular quickdraw in steel designed for vertical applications that require a reliable and versatile anchor point. Its triangular geometry makes it particularly suitable for connecting multiple elements simultaneously, such as slings, ropes, or load-sharing systems, while maintaining an optimal distribution of forces.
Mechanical performance and materials
The steel construction ensures high strength along all axes of loading: 45 kN along the major axis and 10 kN along the minor axis, values that make it suitable for use in climbing as well as in rescue and work at height contexts. Its low weight of 150 g does not add unnecessary bulk to the overall equipment in prolonged-use situations.
