DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Delta is a triangular steel quick link designed for vertical applications that require a reliable and versatile anchor point. Its triangular geometry makes it particularly suitable for connecting multiple elements simultaneously, such as slings, ropes, or load distribution systems, while maintaining optimal force distribution.
Mechanical performance and materials
The steel structure guarantees high resistance on all working axes: 45 kN on the major axis and 10 kN on the minor axis, values that make it suitable for both climbing and rescue and work-at-height contexts. The low weight of 150 g does not penalize the overall equipment in situations of prolonged use.
Certifications and areas of use
- Certified CE EN 12275 for mountaineering connectors
- Certified GB/T 23469-Q for the international market
- Ideal as a central anchor point in Y or V systems
- Suitable for outdoor environments, alpine rescue and professional vertical activities
The manual screwgate locking system allows for quick opening and secure locking even with gloves, reducing setup time in operational situations. The triangular shape also facilitates the correct positioning of the connected elements, avoiding unwanted overlaps between the various components of the system.
