DESCRIPTION
The Summit Breithorn by The North Face is a technical mountaineering down jacket designed for those tackling demanding climbs in extreme cold. Its thermal core is ProDown™ 800 fill power insulation, a water-repellent down that retains its insulating properties even in damp conditions, ensuring an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.
Technical construction for mountaineering
The fit is designed for vertical movement: the raglan sleeves eliminate shoulder seams, reducing friction and pressure from the harness, while the stretch gussets under the arms further enhance freedom of movement during climbing maneuvers. The fixed hood is helmet-compatible, an essential feature for rope team use, and can be adjusted to fit different helmet models.
