DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Progress Adjust-Y is a double progression lanyard designed to ensure a permanent connection during vertical and horizontal progression activities: fixed rope ascent, handrail movement, equipped via ferratas, and rope access work. Unlike fixed-length lanyards, this model integrates the ADJUST locking device on one of the two ends, allowing the length to be adjusted quickly and precisely with one hand, without having to detach the connector from the anchor point.
Construction and components
The lanyard is made of high-strength polyester webbing, with a Y-shaped construction that allows for two independent connection points at the same time. The integrated TANGA accessory keeps the connectors correctly oriented, preventing accidental rotation of the carabiner and reducing the risk of incorrect positioning on the gate. The plastic sleeve protects the structural stitching from wear and abrasion during contact with the surfaces of the wall or handrail.
Practical use
- The fixed end offers a standard length for the main anchor
- The end with the ADJUST locking device can be shortened or lengthened without removing the connector
- Compatible with Petzl system connectors and ascent devices
- Certified EN 354 / EN 358 for use as a positioning and restraint lanyard
