DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Progress Adjust-Y is a double progression lanyard designed to ensure a continuous connection during vertical and horizontal progression activities: rope ascent, traverse, equipped via ferrata, and rope access work. Unlike fixed-length lanyards, this model integrates the ADJUST ascender on one of the two arms, which allows for quick and precise length adjustment with one hand, without having to detach the connector from the anchor point.
Construction and Components
The lanyard is made of high-strength polyester webbing, with a Y-shaped construction that allows for two independent connection points simultaneously. The integrated TANGA accessory keeps the connectors correctly oriented, preventing accidental carabiner rotation and reducing the risk of incorrect gate positioning. The plastic sheath protects the structural stitching from wear and abrasion during contact with wall surfaces or handrails.
Practical Use
