The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 Woman GTX are long-distance hiking and trail shoes, now in their third generation with targeted updates to fit, protection, and grip. Designed for those who stop at nothing—from compact trails to mixed mud and rock—they handle both daily outings and more demanding mountain adventures with ease.

Construction and protection

The upper combines breathable technical fabric with structural reinforcements in high-wear areas, offering lightness without compromising durability. The Gore-Tex membrane provides certified waterproofing and continuous breathability, keeping your foot dry even in persistent rain or stream crossings. A soft, enveloping randonnée collar improves ankle support while reducing pressure points during descents.

Outsole and traction technologies

  • Vibram® Mega-Grip outsole with deep lugs for reliable traction on wet rock and unstable terrain
  • Impact Brake System in the heel: an angled geometry that slows impact on descents, reducing stress on knees and ankles
  • EVA midsole shaped to cushion repeated loads over long distances
  • Rigid rubber toe cap for active protection on rocky terrain

The fit is designed for a female foot, with a snug heel and a proportionally shaped forefoot to prevent internal slippage even on prolonged descents. These are practical shoes for those tackling alpine trails, mid-mountain routes, or multi-day itineraries where stability and waterproofing are essential.
