The LA SPORTIVA Ultra Raptor 3 Woman GTX are long-distance hiking and trail shoes, now in their third generation with targeted updates to fit, protection, and grip. Designed for those who don't shy away from any type of terrain — from compact trails to mixed mud and rock — they effortlessly handle both daily outings and more demanding mountain adventures.

Construction and Protection

The upper combines breathable technical fabric with structural reinforcements in high-wear areas, offering lightness without sacrificing durability. The Gore-Tex membrane ensures certified waterproofing and continuous breathability, keeping the foot dry even in persistent rain or when crossing streams. A soft and enveloping randonnée collar improves ankle support and reduces pressure points during descents.

Sole and Traction Technologies

  • Vibram® Mega-Grip sole with deep lugs for reliable traction on wet rock and unstable terrain
  • Impact Brake System on the heel: angled geometry that slows impact during descents, reducing stress on knees and ankles
  • Midsole with molded EVA midsole to cushion repeated loads over long distances
  • Rigid rubber toe cap for active protection on rocky terrain

The fit geometry is designed for the female foot, with a narrow heel and proportioned forefoot to prevent internal slippage even on prolonged descents. It is a practical shoe for those who tackle alpine trails, mid-mountain routes, or multi-day itineraries where stability and waterproofing are not optional.
