DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Irvis Leverlock Universel are 10-point crampons designed for those who move on mixed terrain: hard compact snow, high-altitude icy slopes, and demanding ski touring routes. The geometry of the points, distributed to maximize the contact surface, guarantees stability both in forward and lateral progression, even on blue ice.
Construction and attachment system
The body is made of high-strength steel, with a compact profile that keeps the weight down without sacrificing structural rigidity. The Leverlock Universel attachment system is the distinctive technical feature of this model: it combines a rear quick-closing lever with an adjustable front band, making it compatible with the vast majority of mountaineering boots, both technical mountaineering and ski touring boots, with or without a cuff. The frame length is adjusted using screws, adapting to different sizes without the need for tools.
