DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Irvis Leverlock Universel are 10-point crampons designed for those moving on mixed terrain: hard compact snow, high-altitude icy slopes, and challenging ski mountaineering routes. The geometry of the points, distributed to maximize the contact surface, ensures stability in both frontal and lateral progression, even on bare ice.
Construction and binding system
The body is made of high-strength steel, with a compact profile that keeps the weight down without sacrificing structural rigidity. The Leverlock Universel binding system is the distinctive technical feature of this model: it combines a quick-release rear lever with an adjustable front strap, making it compatible with the vast majority of mountaineering boots, both technical mountaineering and ski mountaineering, with or without a front welt. The frame length is adjusted via screws, adapting to different sizes without the need for tools.
