DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Paso Guide 7.7 mm is a 60-metre half rope designed for technical mountaineering and ice climbing in demanding conditions. With a diameter of just 7.7 mm, it offers an optimal balance of strength and handling in the most challenging high-altitude situations.
Construction and water-repellent treatment
The Guide UIAA Dry treatment applied to the entire rope—both the core and the sheath—ensures excellent resistance to moisture, snow, and ice absorption. This makes the Paso Guide particularly reliable during prolonged outings in winter environments or on icefalls, where an untreated rope tends to become heavy and stiff, compromising handling and safety.
