DESCRIPTION
The Kong Tango is an aluminum locking carabiner with a dual safety lever locking system, designed to ensure maximum protection against accidental opening in the most exposed situations. The gate geometry requires a combined action: pressing the rear lever with the palm of the hand and pulling the front one at the same time, making it impossible to open unintentionally with a single movement.
Safety system and construction
The rear lever is protected by an integrated guard that prevents accidental activation by compression against the wall, body, or harness — a real risk during dynamic movements or technical passages. The body is made of high-strength aluminum, with a glossy blue finish that makes it easy to identify quickly in the equipment. The gate shape ensures smooth rope flow, which is essential in belay systems.
