DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Explorer 18L is a trekking backpack designed for children venturing into the mountains, with an 18-liter capacity sufficient to carry water, snacks, a change of clothes, and a first aid kit during half-day hikes or full days on the trail.
Construction and carrying system
The backpack body is made of ripstop polyester, a technical fabric with a cross-grid weave that resists abrasion and accidental snags, inevitable when children are moving among rocks and branches. The back panel features the Dry Back Contact system with a padded EVA panel: the child's back remains elevated above the fabric, promoting air circulation and reducing perspiration during ascents.
