DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Explorer 18L is a trekking backpack designed for children getting into mountain hiking, with an 18-liter capacity sufficient to carry water, snacks, a change of clothes, and a first-aid kit during half-day or full-day hikes on trails.
Construction and carrying system
The backpack body is made of ripstop polyester, a technical fabric with a cross-hatch weave that resists abrasions and accidental tears, which are inevitable with children moving among rocks and branches. The back features the Dry Back Contact system with a padded EVA panel: the child's back remains lifted from the fabric, promoting air circulation and reducing perspiration during ascents.
