DESCRIPTION
The Pieps PRO BT is a 3-antenna avalanche transceiver designed for those operating in high-risk avalanche environments, from mountain guides to experienced hikers. Its operational logic aims to minimize reaction times: the interface is built around a few clear controls, so that even under stress, switching from transmit mode to search mode happens immediately.
Technology and search performance
The integrated Bluetooth module allows connection with the Pieps app, useful for firmware updates, smartphone diagnostic tests, and device management over time. The automatic self-test system continuously verifies the correct operation of the antenna and transmission, reporting any anomalies before the device is actually used in the field. The search signal reaches up to 50 meters, with intelligent management of multiple burial situations thanks to the marking of already located victims function, which allows isolating the signals and continuing the search for the others.
