DESCRIPTION
The Kong Duck is an ultra-compact emergency belay device designed for those who need a reliable progression device without sacrificing space and weight on the wall. Its compact geometry makes it insertable even with one hand, a decisive feature in emergency situations or when one hand is already occupied.
Compatibility and versatility
Duck is designed to work on single ropes with a diameter between 8 and 13 mm, covering the entire range of technical climbing and mountaineering ropes. Compatibility also extends to Kong Yaku Vario and Aro Sling Tubular slings, making it a multifunctional device when working with loop systems. The large attachment hole has been sized to allow free rotation even of locking carabiners, avoiding unwanted twisting on the anchor point.
