Salewa NXT Harness
Salewa NXT Harness - Black White / S is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Salewa NXT is a versatile harness that effectively bridges the gap between crag climbing and mountaineering, eliminating the need for two separate pieces of equipment. Its design is based on the proprietary FrameWave technology, a construction system that combines rigid bands and elastic zones in an integrated architecture: the result is a harness that distributes the load evenly across the pelvis and thighs, reducing pressure points even during prolonged hangs.
Construction and materials
FrameWave technology uses a wave-like structure that alternates rigidity where support is needed with flexibility where freedom of movement and comfort are required. This construction approach allows the harness to adapt dynamically to the body's position, whether on a vertical wall or progressing over mixed terrain. Its low weight and high compressibility make it suitable for carrying in a lightweight mountaineering backpack without sacrificing the features of a structured climbing harness.
Main features
- FrameWave technology: hybrid rigid-elastic construction for optimal weight distribution
- Highly compressible: takes up minimal space in the backpack, ideal for approaches and alpine trips
- Complete freedom of movement for technical moves and large steps
- Dual use: sport climbing and ice and mixed mountaineering
- CE EN 12277 certification as a Type C harness
A practical choice for those tackling mixed outings where the same harness must perform from the approach to the route, without compromising either the weight carried or safety and comfort on the wall.
