DESCRIPTION
The La Sportiva Ferrata Gloves are technical gloves designed for via ferrata climbing and rope management at the crag, where a secure grip on the cable and abrasion resistance are real priorities. The construction balances two often conflicting needs: durability in contact areas and breathability on the back of the hand.
Construction and materials
The palm is made of reinforced suede with suede inserts in areas prone to greater wear, ensuring reliable grip on the metal cable and prolonged resistance to abrasion. On the back, a breathable stretch fabric allows for good heat and sweat management during activity, preventing overheating even on summer days. The combination of the two materials ensures an ergonomic fit that follows the natural morphology of the hand without pressure points.
Adaptability and practical use
- Ideal for via ferratas of any difficulty, from the equipped walk to the challenging route
- Usable at the crag for rope handling with the belay device
- Strategic suede reinforcements in high-friction areas
- Stretch fabric on the back for maximum freedom of movement of the fingers
The choice of materials reflects seasonal summer and spring use: it is not a thermal glove, but a technical tool that protects the hand without sacrificing sensitivity and dexterity.
