Leki Makalu FX TA Compact - Turquoise is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Leki Makalu FX TA Compact is a telescopic trekking pole made of aluminum alloy, designed for those seeking reliability on varied terrain without sacrificing ease of transport. The Speed Lock 2 adjustment system allows you to lock and release the length in a few seconds, even while wearing gloves, ensuring quick adaptation to changes in gradient.
Grip and comfort
The pole features the Aergon Air grip, developed with hollow-structure technology that reduces the overall weight while maintaining large ergonomic contact surfaces. The back of the grip is fully covered in rubber, a solution that improves grip during prolonged use and in damp conditions. The shaft extension below the grip is also rubberized, allowing you to hold the pole lower during steep descents without losing stability.
Technical features
- Aluminum shaft with a compact telescopic design (3 sections)
- External Speed Lock 2 locking system for quick adjustment
- Reduced minimum length, ideal for a backpack or carry-on luggage
- Equipped with a metal tip and interchangeable basket
- Adjustable anatomical Trigger Shark strap
The Compact version stands out for its short folded length, making it particularly suitable for frequent travelers who need a pole that is easy to carry on board or store in a technical backpack.
