The guiding principle of this backpack is to eliminate everything superfluous, keeping only what is truly necessary. Those looking to further reduce weight can remove several components:
- Hip belt
- Lid and back reinforcement
- Ice axe holder
- D-Skifix
Thanks to these removals, the already low weight is reduced by an additional 30%, making the Peak Light 32L one of the most versatile mountaineering backpacks in terms of load management.
One of the most innovative features is the Swisswool HYBRID BACK SYSTEM: in the most stressed contact areas, three soft Swisswool pads ensure comfort and an optimal body climate, absorbing large amounts of moisture without feeling wet. The result is constant comfort even during the most strenuous passages at altitude.
The two main outer materials are made of 100% and 50% recycled polyamide, ensuring robustness and durability with a reduced environmental impact.
