DESCRIPTION
The Mammut Aenergy ST 32 is a technical 32-liter backpack designed for those moving through alpine environments on skis or with crampons. Its volume places it in the ideal range for day ski touring trips or challenging mountaineering excursions, where load organization and quick access to gear make all the difference.
Carry System and Access
The internal structure ensures stability even on steep terrain, effectively distributing weight during transitions between skinning and skiing. The main access is complemented by a dedicated safety equipment compartment—designed to store shovel, probe, and avalanche airbag—accessible without opening the main compartment. The integrated daisy chain allows for secure and flexible attachment of additional gear externally.
Technical Attachments and Fixings
The backpack integrates a complete system of external fixings compatible with:
- Skis in vertical or A-frame configuration
- Snowboard
- Ski touring or mountaineering helmet
- Ice axe and poles
This versatility allows for secure transport of gear during walking sections, keeping hands free on technical terrain. The combination of calibrated volume, functional internal organization, and multiple fixings makes the Aenergy ST 32 a solid choice for those who regularly tackle high mountain environments with varying load requirements.
