DESCRIPTION
The Salomon X Ultra 360 GORE-TEX is a low-cut trekking shoe designed for those who cover long distances on varied terrain, from hiking on well-trodden trails to technical routes on rock and mud. A direct evolution of the historic X Ultra line, it integrates the solutions Salomon has developed over time for trail running and hiking into a single versatile shoe.
Construction and protection
The upper incorporates a Gore-Tex membrane that guarantees certified waterproofing and breathability, keeping the foot dry even in prolonged rain or when crossing streams. The "360°" designation refers to a peripheral support system that wraps around the foot on all sides, improving lateral stability on uneven terrain without overly restricting the ankle. The reinforced toe cap protects the toes from impacts with rocks during descents.
Midsole, grip and fit
- Cushioned midsole with OrthoLite technology to reduce fatigue on long distances
- Contagrip TA outsole with a dual compound optimized for grip on wet surfaces, compact dirt, and rock
