DESCRIPTION
The Salomon XA Pro 3D V9 Gore-Tex is a women's trail running shoe that has built its reputation on decades of field use: this model updates one of the brand's longest-running lines, maintaining the foundational values of structural stability, protection, and traction on any type of terrain.
Technical Construction and Protection
The upper integrates a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, which ensures dry feet even on wet trails or in variable weather conditions, without compromising thermal management during prolonged efforts. The Quicklace lacing system allows for quick and uniform fit adjustment with one hand, ideal during races or when wearing gloves. The three-dimensional structure of the rigid 3D Advanced Chassis inserted in the midsole ensures precise foot guidance and reduces foot torsion on uneven surfaces.
Outsole and Grip
- Contagrip MA outsole with optimized lug geometry for more effective traction on rock, compact mud, and roots
- Dual compound that balances grip and abrasion resistance over the long term
- Reinforced Protective Toe Cap bumper protection in the front area against impacts and debris
- OrthoLite insole for cushioning and residual moisture management
It is a solid choice for those who tackle long outings on technical single tracks or mountain trails with variable terrain, where a shoe is needed that doesn't require constant attention and holds up over time without losing its performance characteristics.
