DESCRIPTION
The Salomon XA Meta GORE-TEX is a waterproof trail running shoe designed for those who don't let the weather stop them and are looking for a model capable of going from dirt trails to the city without compromising on performance. The Energy Foam+ midsole provides responsive cushioning that reduces fatigue on long runs, while the shoe's geometry promotes a smooth transition from heel to toe.
Construction and materials
The upper is made with Matryx® yarn, a high-resistance technical fiber that combines lightness and structural solidity, preserving the fit even after intensive use on abrasive terrain. The integrated GORE-TEX membrane ensures certified waterproofing and constant breathability, keeping the foot dry both in the rain and when wading through water. The side protection and the enveloping fit reduce the risk of twisting on uneven terrain.
Grip and adaptability
- Contagrip® MA outsole with a mixed pattern, effective on mud, wet rock, and mixed surfaces
- OrthoLite® insole for comfort and internal moisture management
- Rubber reinforcement at the heel and toe for additional protection
- Traditional lacing with a padded tongue that prevents pressure on the instep
It is the right choice for those tackling technical trails in variable conditions or for hikes in damp environments where waterproofing and reliable grip make the difference.
