DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Bushido III GTX is the waterproof version of the iconic trail runner designed for sky races and technical high-altitude terrain. Compared to previous generations, it integrates the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane, a solution that adheres directly to the upper without creating separate layers, maintaining foot flexibility and ground feel without compromising water and wind protection.

Construction and Technologies

The Vibram Mega-Grip outsole with deep lugs ensures traction on wet rock, mud, and steep trails, and is combined with the Impact Brake System in the heel area to absorb impact during aggressive descents. The breathable technical mesh upper works in synergy with the waterproof membrane to limit heat buildup during intense outings. The FriXion² AT system in the sole compound is optimized for both dry and wet surfaces, a fundamental feature for those running on mixed alpine terrain.

Fit and Wearability

The Bushido III GTX is available in two distinct lasts: the original, snug and precise shape, designed for those seeking an anatomical and supportive fit, and the WIDE version, which maintains the same wrapping sensation but with a wider toe box, suitable for those with a wide forefoot or who experience swelling during long runs. The low upper and structured heel ensure lateral stability even on exposed and uneven trails.
