DESCRIPTION
The Dynafit Radical 88 LTD EDT is a versatile ski touring ski, designed for those tackling classic touring routes in variable conditions without wanting to compromise on either the ascent or the descent. With a waist width of 88 mm, it sits in a balanced range between climbing efficiency and dynamic downhill performance, making it suitable for both spring transformed snow and high-altitude powder.
Construction and snow performance
The Radical 88's geometric profile promotes a progressive load distribution that translates into fluidity when changing direction and good dampening on uneven surfaces. The construction is focused on structural lightness, an essential feature for ski tourers covering long elevation gains: every gram saved on the ski translates into energy conserved during the climb. Despite its low weight, the downhill performance remains solid and reassuring even on hard or crusted snow.
Who it is designed for
The Radical 88 is the ideal choice for those looking for an all-season ski touring ski, capable of responding well to typical Alpine conditions: from winter tours on well-consolidated tracks to high-altitude outings on ungroomed snow. Its versatility makes it particularly suitable for intermediate-advanced ski tourers who want a single, reliable piece of equipment for every season, without having to manage different skis depending on the conditions of the day.
