DESCRIPTION
Losing a ski in powder after a fall is a common scenario in off-piste skiing and ski touring: retrieving it can take precious minutes of digging, especially in deep, soft snow. The Dynafit Deep Snow Band is a high-visibility band specifically designed to reduce this problem, offering a simple and effective solution to an inconvenience that anyone who practices powder skiing knows well.
How it works
The system is simple: the band attaches directly to the ski and is hidden under the pants during the descent. In the event of a fall with loss of the ski, the ribbon deploys and, thanks to the lightness of the material, tends to stay on the surface of the snow rather than sinking with the ski. The high-visibility fluorescent colors make the band identifiable even in difficult lighting conditions or with abundant snow, allowing you to quickly locate the point where the ski has sunk and significantly reducing recovery times.
Main features
- Colored high-visibility band for quick retrieval in deep snow
- Direct attachment to the ski, passing under the pants so as not to hinder the descent
- Low weight so as not to add bulk to the equipment
- Ideal for ski touring and freeride off-piste with powder snow
- Compatible with most ski touring and freeride skis
A small accessory but of great practical utility for those who regularly frequent off-piste skiing.
