DESCRIPTION
The Dynafit Blacklight 88 is the most versatile ski in the entire Blacklight range: designed for those seeking a ski capable of adapting to any snow conditions and any altitude, from spring firn to fresh high-mountain snow. Weighing just 1,080 grams per ski, it ranks among the lightest solutions in the touring segment without compromising downhill stability.
Construction and geometry
The 88 mm waist width ensures a balanced contact area, sufficient for flotation in soft snow and narrow enough to respond precisely on hard snow and crust. The construction features a hybrid wood and carbon sandwich cap, which optimally distributes torsional stiffness while reducing overall weight. The result is a ski that is responsive when carving and does not fatigue on long climbs.
Why choose it
- Weight of 1,080 g per ski: ideal for fast ski touring outings and ski touring races
- 88 mm waist width: versatile on transformed, fresh, and compact snow
- Wood + carbon construction for high torsional stiffness at a low weight
- Optimized for challenging alpine terrain and significant elevation changes
The Blacklight 88 is the most logical choice for those who ski tour in alpine environments with variable conditions and want a ski that does not force compromises either on the ascent or the descent.
