DESCRIPTION
Black Crows Orb Freebird + Pilus Orb Freebird Touring Skins is a complete ski and skin set designed for ski touring, offering the perfect balance between lightness on the ascent and performance on the descent.
The Orb Freebird is a versatile and precise ski touring ski. With a 91 mm waist, it provides excellent float without compromising precision when changing direction or edge grip.
The geometry is designed to perform in technical and varied terrain:
- Progressive tip rocker and early-rise tail for improved maneuverability and easier pivoting
- Long classic camber for effective snow contact and stable handling even on technical terrain
- Firm flex underfoot for precision and confidence, with a progressive flex towards the tip and tail for a smooth and comfortable ride
The set includes the Pilus Orb Freebird Touring Skins, skins developed specifically for this model and optimized to provide a good balance of glide, grip, and reliability on the ascent.
- Mohair/nylon blend for smooth progression during the ascent
- Lightweight, waterproof membrane to keep overall weight down
- Front and rear attachment system adapted to the Orb Freebird geometry for quick, precise, and secure mounting
- PFC-free water-repellent treatment and durable adhesive for reliability in all conditions
