DESCRIPTION
Black Crows Camox Freebird Ski Touring + Pilus Skins is a complete ski touring set combining Camox Freebird skis with Pilus Camox Freebird Touring Skins, specifically developed for this model. An integrated solution for those seeking lightness, versatility, and performance both uphill and downhill.
The Camox Freebird is a ski touring ski with a 97 mm waist, offering a carefully balanced combination of float, stability, and maneuverability that makes it suitable for a wide range of snow conditions.
The ski’s geometry features:
- Progressive tip rocker and early-rise tail for improved pivot control, easier turns, and better performance in soft snow
- Classic camber underfoot for good edge grip and precise skiing
- Stiff flex underfoot, progressive towards the tip and tail, for comfort, stability, and control
- 18-metre turning radius for dynamic, responsive skiing
The set includes the Pilus Camox Freebird Touring Skins 2026/2027, skins designed specifically for this ski with a dedicated attachment system at the tip and near the tail. This design reduces the overall length of the skin by approximately 20 cm and achieves a weight reduction of over 10% compared to conventional solutions.
The skins are made with:
- A lightweight, durable, and 100% waterproof membrane
- A hybrid mohair/nylon composition for an excellent balance between uphill grip and downhill glide
