DESCRIPTION
The Scarpa F1 GT is a women's ski touring boot designed for those who ski tour with a lightweight setup and want to maximize uphill efficiency without compromising protection on descents. The construction is optimized for TLT bindings with an Optimized Touring Pivot pin at -1 mm, a technical choice that ensures direct compatibility with the most widely used touring systems in modern ski touring.
Closure technology and protection
The closure uses the proprietary Wave Lite Closure system, which distributes pressure evenly around the lower leg by adapting to the shape of the female foot, reducing friction points during long climbs. The integrated Overlap Shield Tech gaiter protects the boot entry from fine snow and moisture, a crucial feature when skiing snowy slopes in variable conditions. Together, these two technologies make the boot resistant to snow ingress even during quick transitions between climbing and descending.
Who it is designed for
- Ski tourers who prioritize lightness and ankle mobility when climbing
- Ski touring routes with ultralight or fast&light equipment
- Use with TLT bindings on mid-range or racing ski touring skis
The boot is made entirely in Asolo, Italy, at the historic Scarpa factory, where craftsmanship is combined with the latest construction technologies. A guarantee of build quality that is evident in the fit and long-term durability.
