DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Backland Expert CL is a ski touring boot that incorporates Backland line technologies in an accessible version, designed for those who want authentic performance without sacrificing comfort on the ascent. The Prolite construction keeps the weight down, a concrete advantage on long outings where every gram counts.
Technologies and construction
The Frictionless Pivot system eliminates friction in ankle movement while walking, restoring a natural stride and reducing muscle fatigue on prolonged elevation changes. The closure is entrusted to the Boa Fit System, which distributes pressure evenly across the entire fit with a single turn of the dial, without localized pressure points. The inner boot has a softer construction compared to the other models in the range, designed to promote comfort during hours of walking.
Flex and use
- Rigidity index Flex 90, which guarantees good control on descents in worked snow or moderate off-piste
- Walk mode with ample freedom of movement to tackle steep slopes without tiring the calf
- Suitable for progressing ski tourers looking for a versatile boot for medium-difficulty outings
The Backland Expert CL is the practical choice for those getting into advanced ski touring or who want a touring boot that balances technical performance and everyday usability, without the compromises of entry-level models.
Fit
Measurements in Mondopoint (MP): the number corresponds to the length of the foot in centimeters (e.g. 27 = 27/27.5). Measure the foot from heel to big toe, standing up and with ski socks on, and choose the corresponding size; if in doubt, write to us before ordering.
To pair with: Atomic Backland 85 Men's Ski Touring Skis, Atomic Backland Tour Ski Touring Binding - Skistopper 90 mm, Atomic Skin 85/86 Ski Touring Skins
