Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR Ski Touring Binding
Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR Ski Touring Binding - Black / 90 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Backland Summit 12 BR is a complete, lightweight and robust pin binding for passionate ski tourers tackling all types of terrain. Compared to classic pin bindings, it adds an adjustable release value from 6 to 12 and the AutoFlex system, and features 90 mm touring ski stoppers (BR).
Safety and descent
AutoFlex is a spring in the heel piece that automatically allows 5 mm of movement between the toe and heel pieces as the ski flexes in turns: the binding follows the ski's natural flex, absorbs impacts better and increases safety. The adjustable release value allows the binding to be precisely tuned to the skier's weight and level.
Features
- Compatible with ski touring boots with pin (tech) inserts
- Patented step-in with an integrated bar that guides the boot
- Ski touring toe lift with three positions (0°, 7° and 13°) adjustable with the ski pole
- Toe and heel pieces in aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced polyamide: lightweight on the ascent, reliable on the descent
- Touring ski stoppers with ascent/descent lock, connectable to each other for carrying skis over the shoulder
- Weight: 415 g per piece; sole length adjustment of 50 mm
- Compatible with Atomic Backland ski touring skins of 80, 90, 100 and 110 mm
Fit
Recommended skier weight: 67-120 kg. The binding should be fitted and adjusted by a technician based on the boot sole length and the skier's weight, height and level. 90 mm ski stoppers: suitable for skis up to 90 mm wide at the center.
To pair with: Atomic Backland 88 Men's Ski Touring Skis, Atomic Backland XTD 110 Men's Ski Touring Boots, Atomic Skin Multifit 135 mm Ski Touring Skins
