DESCRIPTION
The Stormgap Power Grid™ is a technical women's midlayer designed for those who do not want to compromise on warmth and lightness while moving. The heart of the garment is the Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric, a geometric grid fleece that, thanks to its three-dimensional structure, creates micro-air channels capable of balancing thermal insulation and breathability much more efficiently than a traditional flat-surface fleece.
Construction and thermal performance
The grid geometry is not just aesthetic: each cell of the pattern optimizes the ratio between fabric mass and insulating capacity, making the jacket lightweight, compressible and easily foldable into a backpack when the temperature rises. This makes it particularly suitable as a second layer during trekking, hiking, or ascents, where temperature variations are frequent and sweat management is critical.
