DESCRIPTION

The Salewa Denali III is a double-wall dome tent designed for three people and suitable for use in spring, summer, and autumn. The dome structure ensures excellent stability even in windy conditions, thanks to its geometry, which evenly distributes forces across the tent poles. The double-wall system separates the breathable inner layer from the waterproof outer flysheet, reducing condensation inside the sleeping area and keeping the interior dry even after damp nights.

Construction and protection

The outer flysheet is made of waterproof-treated nylon, ensuring good resistance to precipitation, while the reinforced groundsheet protects against wet ground and abrasion. Seam-sealed stitching at critical points prevents leaks even during prolonged rain. The pegs and guy lines allow the structure to be properly tensioned, improving its wind resistance on various terrains.

Interior space and portability

The interior offers sufficient space for three people with limited luggage, while the front vestibule provides storage for shoes, backpacks, and wet equipment without taking up space in the sleeping area. Its low weight makes the Denali III suitable not only for multi-day trekking but also for cycle touring and hiking, where backpack weight is a determining factor. The pole-and-hub setup is quick and requires no tools, a practical feature when arriving at the campsite at the end of the day in low light.
