DESCRIPTION
The North Face Lightning Alpine Tee is a technical women's shirt designed for mountaineering and high-intensity activities at altitude, where sweat management and mechanical resistance are essential. The fabric is made with the proprietary FlashDry-XD™ technology, a solution that combines quick drying and active moisture management: sweat is pulled away from the skin and dispersed outwards in reduced times, keeping the body dry even during prolonged exertion.
Construction and materials
Unlike classic outdoor t-shirts, the FlashDry-XD™ fabric incorporates a tear-resistant reinforced structure, designed to withstand contact with rock, ropes, or technical equipment. The presence of an elastic component in the fabric guarantees freedom of movement in all directions, which is essential during technical passages on rock or ice. Its low weight and slim fit also make it suitable as a first base layer under a shell or softshell.
Who it is for
- Female mountaineers and climbers looking for a high-performance technical base layer
- Those who tackle demanding approaches with a backpack and mountain equipment
- Those who practice trail running or fast trekking in variable conditions
The Lightning Alpine Tee is not just a simple sports t-shirt: it is a garment built for harsh environments, where the combination of lightness, breathability, and fabric durability makes a real difference in managing comfort and safety in the mountains.
Pair with: Women's Felik Alpine Leggings, Women's Extreme Pile 2 Fleece Jacket.
