DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Backland Pro UL is the flagship boot of the Backland UL family, designed for those who make fast and light ski touring their discipline. The shell construction incorporates carbon fibers that lower the overall weight without sacrificing the torsional stiffness needed on descents, offering a direct and precise response even on hard snow or challenging off-piste terrain.
Technologies for climbing and descending
The Free/Lock 4.0 system manages the transition between ski and walk modes with an optimized lever travel, reducing transition times near the lifts. The Frictionless Pivot eliminates friction in the walking movement, restoring a fluid and natural ankle articulation that reduces muscle fatigue during long climbs. Combined, these two systems make the boot competitive in both ski touring races and high-mileage freetouring outings.

Fit
Measurements in Mondopoint (MP): the number corresponds to the length of the foot in centimeters (e.g. 27 = 27/27.5). Measure the foot from heel to big toe, standing up and with ski socks on, and choose the corresponding size; if in doubt, write to us before ordering.
